This website is operated by Dopamine Meals.
Throughout the site, the terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Dopamine Meals. Dopamine Meals offers this website and the meal delivery services available from this site (the “Service”), conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies, and notices stated here.
By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our service and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service,” “Terms”), including those additional policies referenced herein. These Terms apply to all users of the site.
Please read these Terms of Service carefully. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
1.2 Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and/or changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time. You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of the Service without express written permission by us.
SECTION 2. Product Information Accuracy and Disclaimers
We are committed to providing the most current and accurate information possible regarding our products, services, and pricing. To uphold this commitment, we regularly update the Service.
However, we must advise that we cannot guarantee the complete accuracy or full availability of all published content at any given moment.
You acknowledge and agree to the following:
- Inaccuracies and Errors: Despite our best efforts, the Service may contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions concerning prices, product image, specifications, availability, or descriptions.
- Right to Correction: We reserve the right to change or update information and correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions at any time without prior notice (even after your order has been submitted).
- Information Delays: We may occasionally experience delays in updating information on the Service and in our external advertisements.
- The content presented on this website is for general informational purposes. only. We are not liable if the material provided is not entirely accurate, complete, or up to date. You should not treat the information on this site as the exclusive foundation for making decisions; instead, you should consult more timely, reliable, or comprehensive external sources. Consequently, any dependence you place on the material found here is strictly at your own risk. Furthermore, the site may include historical data which, by its nature, is outdated and included solely for your reference.
- While we reserve the right to alter the site's contents at any time, we are under no obligation to update any specific information. By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to monitor and be aware of any changes made to our website.
SECTION 3. Product Specifics, Services, and Customization
Dopamine Meals uses high-quality ingredients; however, we do not warrant that the quality of any product will meet every personal expectation.
- Customization and Ingredients: Due to batch cooking, all meals are non-customizable regarding portion size and ingredients. Dopamine Meals maintains complete discretion over product descriptions and pricing and reserves the right to discontinue any product at any time.
- Ingredients & Macros: Ingredients, macros, and major allergens are listed on each meal container and on the website. Specific vegetables used may vary based on supplier inventory.
- Sodium: We use salt in all cooking. For lower sodium intake, we recommend our high-octane meal plan.
- Halal Status: Dopamine Meals is not currently halal-certified by HMA or CHFCA. However, we confirm we do not sell or use any items that contain pork or are derived from pork products in the preparation of our meals.
- Some of our products and services are offered exclusively online via the website. These items may be available in limited quantities and are subject to our formal Return Policy for any exchanges or returns. We maintain the right to discontinue any product at any time. Any stated offer for a product or service is void in jurisdictions where such offerings are prohibited.
- We reserve the right but are not obligated to limit the sales volume of our products or services to any specific individual, geographic region, or legal jurisdiction. This right may be exercised on a case-by-case basis. We also reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services offered.
- Warranties on Quality: We do not warrant that the quality of any product or service obtained will meet every personal expectation. We only warrant that the products will be prepared in compliance with local food safety standards. We make no warranty that the quality of any products, services, information, or material acquired by you will align perfectly with your personal expectations or that every error present within the Service will be immediately corrected.
3.1 Product Visuals and Advertising Disclaimer
- The images displayed on our website and social media platforms are provided solely for advertisement and illustrative purposes. While we endeavor to upload the best visuals representative of the product, the actual product delivered may differ in appearance from the images posted. Customers are strongly encouraged to refer to the detailed product descriptions to gain the best understanding of the product specifications and ingredients before placing an order.
3.2 PRODUCTS, PRICING, AND INFORMATION ACCURACY
We regularly update the products and services on the service to ensure accuracy. However, we cannot guarantee the complete accuracy of all information, including prices, product images, specifications, or availability.
- Correction of Errors: We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions and to change or update information or cancel orders at any time without prior notice (even after your order has been submitted).
- Price Changes: Prices for our products are subject to change without notice.
- Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time. We shall not be liable for any modification, price change, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.
SECTION 4 – ORDER PLACEMENT & SUBSCRIPTIONS
4.1 Order Types, Minimums, and Bundles
- The minimum order for both one-time orders and weekly subscriptions is 6 meals. However, if you choose the Twice a Week (Split Delivery) option, a minimum order of 12 meals is required. Subscriptions are automatically renewed and charged to your payment method at the applicable cut-off time.
4.2 Order Placement Action Required
Dopamine Meals offers two primary order types:
- One-Time Order: A single order with a single payment. Must be placed manually before the applicable cut-off time.
- Weekly Subscription: An ongoing order set on auto payment, providing uninterrupted service until manually paused or cancelled. The system automatically places the order based on previous selections. You must manually select meals if you wish to change them after receiving the new menu notification. We recommend checking your email inbox and junk folder for the menu notification.
4.3 Meal Selection Backup
If you forget to choose your meals, the system will automatically select them. based on your initial or previous protein selections. Dopamine Meals will not issue a refund for meals you dislike that were automatically selected due to you missing the meal selection cut-off time.
4.1 Order Cut-off Times
All modifications, skipping, pausing, or cancellations must be completed before the order cut-off time.

SECTION 5. SUBSCRIPTION MANAGEMENT, CANCELLATION, AND LIABILITY
5.1 Recurring Subscription Fee and Deactivation
The recurring subscription fee will continue to apply automatically until you actively deactivate or pause your subscription. You may deactivate your subscription at any time via your Account settings.
5.2 Mandatory Modification Deadlines
To avoid being charged for the next subscription period, deactivation, pausing, or any order modification (including meal selection) must be completed before the strict cut-off times:
- Sunday Delivery Cut-off: By Thursday 8:00 PM
- Wednesday Delivery Cut-off: By Sunday 8:00 PM
5.3 Liability for Missed Deadlines
- If you fail to modify or deactivate your subscription before the applicable cut-off time, the system will automatically process and place your order.
- Strictly apply: ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS OR RETURNS will be provided, as management of the subscription schedule is deemed your sole responsibility.
- Managing your subscription (changes, skips, pauses, cancellations) is your sole responsibility. If you miss the cut-off time, the system will automatically process the order based on previous selections. ABSOLUTELY NO REFUND OR RETURN will be provided in this scenario.
- Final Subscription Liability: Managing your changes is your sole responsibility. If you forget to make any changes before the cut-off time, the order will process automatically, and ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS OR RETURNS will be provided.
- We do not guarantee to make any changes requested after the deadline, and Dopamine Meals is not responsible for the consequences.
SECTION 6. ACCOUNT OBLIGATIONS AND FINANCIAL TRANSACTIONS
- Placing an order requires setting up an account using your email ID and a password. Once set up, you can view current orders, past purchases, and manage subscriptions.
6.1 Account Creation and Security
- When establishing an account with us, you are obligated to provide information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to maintain accurate information constitutes a breach of these Terms.
- Password Responsibility: You are solely responsible for safeguarding the confidentiality of your password and for all activities conducted under your account. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.
6.2 Purchases and Payment Authorization
- To initiate a purchase, you may be required to supply certain financial information, including your credit card number, expiration date, billing address, and shipping details.
- Representation of Authority: By submitting payment information, you represent and warrant that you have the legal right to use the payment method(s) provided and that the information supplied is true, correct, and complete.
- Processing: You grant us the right to share this information with third-party service providers solely for the purpose of completing and facilitating your purchases.
6.3 Refusal of Orders and Fraud
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel your order at any time for reasons including, but not limited to, product availability, errors in pricing or description, or discrepancies in your order. We may also refuse or cancel any order if fraud or an unauthorized or illegal transaction is suspected. We shall not be held responsible or liable for any resulting loss or damages due to the failure of a purchase to complete.
6.4 Accuracy of Billing and Account Information
- You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases. We reserve the right to refuse any order you place and to limit or cancel quantities purchased.
6.5 Customer Obligations for Account Information
- To ensure seamless processing of your orders and transactions, you agree to maintain current, complete, and accurate information for your account and all purchases. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Providing a valid and current email address.
- Promptly updating your credit card numbers and expiration dates.
- Ensuring the accuracy of your billing and shipping addresses.
- You are responsible for keeping this information up to date so we can successfully process your transactions and contact you regarding your order.
6.6 Our Right to Limit and Refuse Orders
- We retain the sole right and discretion to manage and control all orders placed through the Service. Specifically, we reserve the right to:
- Refuse any order placed with us.
- Limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household, or per order.
· These limitations may be applied to orders linked by
- The same customer account.
- The same credit card.
- The same billing and/or shipping address.

- We also reserve the right to prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers, or distributors. In the event we must change or cancel an order, we will attempt to notify you using the contact details (email, billing address, or phone number) provided at the time the order was placed.
SECTION 7 - DELIVERY, RISK OF LOSS, AND CLAIM PROTOCOL
7.1 Delivery Area and Schedule
We deliver within Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) on every Sunday and Wednesday. For condo or apartment deliveries, ensure a valid buzzer code is provided.
- Split Delivery: The option to split a delivery twice per week is available only for one-time orders and subscriptions of 12 meals or more. Meals are split equally between the two delivery days, and you are charged weekly once for both deliveries.
7.2 Delivery Schedule and Cut-off Times
Delivery is offered every Sunday and Wednesday. All modifications (including skipping, pausing, cancelling, or choosing meals) must be completed before the cut-off time.

7.3 Delivery Protocol and Risk of Loss
- The risk of loss passes to you upon delivery. For condo or apartment deliveries, you must provide a valid buzzer code. If the package is left at the door per your request and is subsequently stolen or missing, Dopamine Meals is not responsible.
- If you reside in a house and are not home to receive the delivery, our driver will leave the delivery bag in front of your door or somewhere safe following your instructions. If you are worried about your package being stolen or missing, please ensure you are home to accept the delivery.
- If you live in a condominium, we can drop the bag with concierge if your condo management allows it. Please ensure the concierge at your building would accept the delivery on your behalf. We must comply with strict building rules that forbid leaving any baggage or perishable packages outside unit doors for safety and freshness. If access or recipient availability prevents delivery, our drivers have no choice but to return the package to our facility. To prevent missed deliveries, please ensure you are available to receive your package or that all necessary access arrangements have been communicated to facilitate a seamless drop-off.
- In such a situation (failed delivery), any attempt to redeliver the package, whether the same evening or the following day, will incur an additional delivery fee of $15 to cover the extra logistical costs.
7.4 Risk of Loss and Perishable Goods
Your meals must be stored immediately upon receipt. While the packaging is designed to keep the meals chilled, its protection only lasts for up to two hours post-delivery.
- Dopamine Meals is not responsible for meals left unattended for more than two hours after delivery or for any spoilage resulting from improper storage while in your custody.
- Storage Mandate: All meals are highly perishable and must be refrigerated immediately upon receipt. Dopamine Meals is not responsible for spoilage or damage resulting from the package being left unattended for more than two hours after the time of delivery.
7.5 Mandatory Reporting of Errors
If you receive an incorrect or missing meal, you must notify us immediately on the day of delivery by emailing dopaminemeals@gmail.com (or the correct email for claims) with detailed information and photos. Allow 1–3 business days for investigation.
- Consumption Liability: We cannot correct the issue or provide assistance if the incorrect meal was consumed and then reported to us.
- Damage Claims: If your delivery arrives damaged, you must take photos and report the damage within 4 hours of delivery to dopaminemeals@gmail.com.
- Taste Disclaimer: We do not offer refunds simply because a meal was not enjoyed, as taste is subjective. We encourage a thorough review of the menu before purchase.
SECTION 8. DELIVERY AND LOGISTICS POLICY
8.1 Delivery Execution and Customer Responsibilities
Dopamine Meals utilizes its internal logistics team or approved third-party carriers to execute the delivery of your food packages. You are required to furnish complete and accurate delivery information, including any special instructions necessary for the driver (e.g., buzzer codes, specific drop-off locations).
8.2 Unattended Delivery and Risk Transfer
Our perishable meals are protected using specialized materials. In the event you are not present at the address upon arrival, the food package will be left at your door or in an accessible common area.
- Mandatory Inspection: Upon delivery, you are responsible for immediately inspecting the package to verify the contents are cool, refrigerated, and free from defects or damage.
- Immediate Refrigeration: To preserve meal quality and integrity, you must immediately transfer the items to refrigeration upon receipt.
8.3 Failed Delivery Protocol and Fees
Our delivery service is structured around one single attempt within the day selected by the customer.
- Attempt Failure: If the customer is unreachable or absent during the delivery attempt, Dopamine Meals is under no obligation to reimburse or credit the cost of that order.
- Redelivery: Should we offer a second delivery attempt (either later the same day or the next day), this service will be conditional upon the customer covering additional delivery charges.
8.4 Liability and Exceptions
- Confirmation of Delivery: Dopamine Meals is not responsible for missing orders when the carrier provides official confirmation that the package was successfully delivered to the specified address.
- Inaccessibility/Weather: In the case of inclement weather or an inaccessible designated delivery location, we will contact you to determine the best alternate location and/or date, delivering the order as soon as conditions reasonably permit.
- Troubleshooting: If you believe you are within our service area, but your postal code is not accepted, please contact us via email (dopaminemeals@gmail.com) or call us at 437-869-6916 for assistance.
SECTION 9. UNAVOIDABLE INTERRUPTIONS (FORCE MAJEURE)
Non-Liability for External Events
Dopamine Meals shall not be held liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or for any delay in the performance of, any of our obligations that is caused by events occurring outside of our reasonable control (a “Force Majeure Event”).
Defining a Force Majeure Event
A Force Majeure Event includes any unpredictable act, omission, non-happening, or accident beyond our reasonable control, specifically including, but not limited to, the following categories:
- Widespread labor disputes, strikes, or other concerted industrial action.
- Civil unrest, riot, invasion, terrorist attacks, or declarations/preparations for war.
- Natural catastrophes such as fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, or epidemic/pandemic.
- The widespread impossibility of utilizing public or private transport networks (e.g., railways, shipping, motor transport).
- Failures or inaccessibility of public or private telecommunications networks.
- Actions, decrees, legislation, regulations, or restrictions imposed by any level of government.
Duration and Mitigation
Our performance under these Terms is considered suspended for the entire period that the Force Majeure Event continues, and we will have an extension of time for performance equal to the duration of the suspension. Dopamine Meals commits to utilizing all reasonable efforts to bring the Force Majeure Event to a swift resolution or to find an alternative method by which our obligations may be performed despite the prevailing circumstances.
10. Discounts
- Discounts on subscriptions: Subscription meals receive inherent discounts based on tiered bundles (e.g., 6, 12, 18 meals). One-Time Orders do not receive these continuous discounts, though non-guaranteed promotional offers may apply.
- Promotional and Referral Discounts: All first-order discounts are strictly limited to one use per unique household address, unique payment method, and unique email address. Referral discounts are ineligible if the referrer shares the same criteria (address, payment, or email) with the individual referred. Dopamine Meals reserves the right to revoke any promotional credits at any time upon notifying the customer.
- Promotional Offers and Discounts: All promotional offers, discounts, and pricing incentives are provided at the sole discretion of Dopamine Meals and are not guaranteed for future orders. We reserve the unequivocal right to vary, modify, withdraw, or refuse the application of any discount or offer at any time, without prior notice.
SECTION 11. FINAL MEDICAL AND RESULTS DISCLAIMER
11.1. Separation from Medical Practice and Advice
- Dopamine Meals operates strictly as a meal preparation service and is neither a medical organization nor a provider of professional medical services or advice. The meals, products, and nutritional data shared through our Service are for informational purposes only. They are not intended to constitute, and must not be interpreted as, a substitute for professional medical guidance, diagnosis, or treatment. No doctor-patient relationship is established through your use of the Service. In the event of a medical emergency, you must call 911 immediately.
11.2. Mandatory Physician Consultation for High-Risk Individuals
- We strongly advise all users to consult with a qualified physician before commencing any new diet or weight loss regimen. Express approval from a healthcare professional is mandatory before starting a Dopamine Meals program if you have an existing medical condition or belong to a high-risk category. This includes, but is not limited to, individuals who are;
- Pregnant or nursing mothers.
- Under the age of 18.
- Living with an eating disorder (anorexia or bulimia).
- Managing chronic kidney disease or any other serious health condition.
You must prioritize the advice of your physician over any information obtained from the Dopamine Meals Service or staff.
11.3. Non-Medically Supervised Programs and Results Liability
- The Dopamine Meals programs are not medically supervised. We make no explicit or implied claims or guarantees regarding specific weight loss metrics or personalized health outcomes. Individual results are highly variable. By using our Service, you acknowledge and accept that:
- Actual weight loss or health results are not guaranteed.
- Failure to meet your personal fitness or weight goals (including the possibility of weight gain) will not be grounds for a refund or damages sought against Dopamine Meals.
SECTION 12. Nutritional Data Accuracy and Disclaimer
- Dopamine Meals strives to provide the most precise nutritional data available. Please note the following hierarchy for information accuracy:
1) Data Source Priority
- The definitive and most accurate nutritional information reflects meal preparation at the time of cooking and is always printed directly on the labels affixed to your individual meal containers.
- While we actively update the nutritional content displayed on our website and App daily to reflect evolving ingredients, the information on your physical meal container label remains the final and governing source for your order. All published nutritional data is provided to the best of our knowledge.
2) Nutritional Information Disclaimer: Please be advised that all nutritional values and macronutrient content (macros) listed on our website and meal containers are provided as the best estimate based on our current knowledge. We must clarify that we do not guarantee 100% accuracy for this information, as slight variations can occur due to several factors:
- Supplier Products: Differences in the products we receive from various producers and manufacturers.
- Preparation: Variations in cooking techniques used by different chefs or kitchen staff at Dopamine Meals.
Therefore, this information should be considered an estimate for guidance, not an exact calculation.
3) Results Liability: As established in these Terms, all nutritional information is for informational purposes only. Failure to meet specific personal fitness or weight goals, including instances of weight gain, will not constitute grounds for a refund or the seeking of damages against Dopamine Meals.
SECTION 13. ALLERGEN WARNING AND LIABILITY
13.1 Presence of Major Allergens
Be advised that our meal preparation and packaging facilities handle all eight major allergens recognized by the Canadian and U.S. food regulatory bodies: wheat, egg, soy, milk, tree nuts, peanuts, fish, and shellfish.
13.2 Cross-Contamination Disclaimer
- While Dopamine Meals employs stringent processes to limit cross-contact, we cannot guarantee that any meal is entirely free of all allergens. You understand, acknowledge, and agree that cross-contamination is possible between food products during storage, portioning, and packaging, meaning your meals or the meal box itself may contain trace amounts of the listed allergens.
13.3 Consumer Responsibility for Verification
- You are solely responsible for knowing about any food allergies you may have and for verifying the ingredients and contents listed on the physical meal container labels before handling, preparing, or consuming such products.
13.4 Reliance on Product Data
- We rely on ingredient and allergen information supplied by our manufacturers and suppliers. As manufacturers may modify their products without immediate notice, Dopamine Meals does not represent or warrant that the information presented on our website or App is complete or 100% accurate at all times.
- We recommend that customers with severe dietary or allergic concerns to contact us for assistance or not to order from Dopamine Meals.
SECTION 14 - FOOD SAFETY, ALLERGENS, AND LIABILITY
14.1 Food Safety and Storage Liability
You must store meals immediately upon receipt. The thermal packaging provides temperature protection for up to two hours post-delivery. Dopamine Meals is not responsible for any meals left unattended for more than two hours or any spoilage resulting from improper storage while in your custody.
14.2 Allergens and Cross-Contamination Warning
While some meals are tagged (e.g., gluten-free), we use all types of major allergens in our kitchen, and we cannot guarantee zero cross-contamination.
- CRITICAL WARNING: If you have a severe, life-threatening allergy, we strongly advise against ordering from Dopamine Meals.
- Protocol: You must communicate any allergies to us via email (dopaminemeals@gmail.com) or order notes prior to ordering. Communicating an allergy does not guarantee accommodation.
- Liability: If an allergen is not communicated, Dopamine Meals is not responsible for any potential circumstances. It is your responsibility to review all ingredient lists before ordering.
14.3 Ingredients and Transparency

SECTION 15.USER ACCOUNTS, SECURITY, AND ACCOUNT LIABILITY
By accessing or using the services provided by Dopamine Meals, including placing an order, creating an account, or managing a subscription, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
15.1. Registration Requirements and User Warranties
To access certain interactive features of the Dopamine Meals Service, you must register as a "Registered User" and create an Account. By establishing an Account, you affirm and warrant that:
- You are at least eighteen (18) years old and possess the full legal capacity to enter this contract.
- You are not prohibited from using the Service by the laws of Canada, your jurisdiction, or any other applicable authority.
- You will furnish information that is true, accurate, complete, and current at all times, with an ongoing obligation to update this information as necessary.
15.2. User Obligations for Account Protection
You are solely responsible for all activities conducted under your account. You covenant and agree to;
- Maintain the security and confidentiality of your password and accept all risks associated with any unauthorized access to your account.
- Immediately notify Dopamine Meals at hello@dopaminemeals.com if you become aware of any suspected security breach or unauthorized use of your account information.
- Monitor your usage to restrict access by minors and accept full responsibility for any usage of the Site or app by individuals who do not meet the minimum age requirements.
- Refrain from sharing your account credentials or password with any third party.
15.3. Account Usage Restrictions and Termination Rights
You agree not to establish more than one Account at any given time, nor to create an Account using false identity or information.
Dopamine Meals reserves the unconditional right, at its sole discretion, to:
- Suspend or terminate your account immediately and refuse any and all future use of the service if we have reasonable grounds to suspect that any information you provided is untrue, inaccurate, or incomplete.
- Disable any account or ban any registered user if, in our opinion, the user has violated any provision of these terms.
- Reclaim or remove any usernames at any time and for any reason.
15.4. ABSOLUTE LIABILITY FOR ACCOUNT ACTIVITY
YOU WILL BE SOLELY AND FULLY RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL ACCESS TO, AND USE OF, THE SERVICES BY ANY INDIVIDUAL UTILIZING YOUR ACCOUNT, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER SUCH ACCESS WAS ACTUALLY AUTHORIZED BY YOU. This absolute liability encompasses all financial obligations, communications, and transmissions incurred through the use of your account.
15.5. Service Availability and Ownership
Dopamine Meals reserves the right to withdraw or amend the Site, App, and any service or material provided, in its sole discretion and without notice. We shall not be liable if all or any part of the Service is unavailable at any time or for any period.
